Clients

• We are a client-driven firm, focusing on improved profitability and tax mitigation. Our diaries are managed by our clients i.e. where appropriate, clients make direct contact with our receptionists to arrange times and dates for meetings with partners and staff.
• We seek to agree with the client a delivery date at day one of every project - be it accounts production, cash flow projection or tax advice.
• We are dynamically involved in our clients' decision-making processes, and like to be regarded as a department of their business.
• We engage in brainstorming with our clients and stay with the issue until the outcome has been assured.
• We are alert to the unpredictable and often frenetic nature of information needs in the modern commercial world and we respond rapidly to ad hoc requests - a mortgage reference, a pre-transaction tax opinion, a due diligence report if a company is to be bought or sold.

Fees

• Fixed fees are agreed in advance. Fixed means fixed: no 'add-ons', no 'disbursements', no photocopy or courier recharges, no surprises.
• We encourage spreading of fees over a year by standing order.

Technology

• All staff are IT-skilled.
• The firm makes extensive use of today's 'best-of-breed' accounting software.
• We share our expertise with our clients in pursuit of the ideal IT solution (including Sage, Excel, and QuickBooks training)
• We are experienced in the conversion of manual books and records to computerised systems.

Staff

• Everyone working in the firm, from CA student to senior manager, is only chosen after a minimum of three hours of interviews, together with a written assessment addressing competency, speed, IT skills, common sense (and sense of humour!).
• At the second interview, candidates have the opportunity to meet all the staff in a relaxed environment without executive partners present.
